Controversy over Lil Nas / Nike "Satan Sneakers" ad campaign.
Updated: Apr 11
Lil Nas has made headlines this month after the release of a new shoe line that has people's heads spinning. Six hundred and sixty six pairs specifically and each one individually numbered and custom designed with Satanic Symbolism.
Each pair is made with 1 drop of human blood mixed into the ink used to design the shoes. The devil's most powerful weapon is convincing people he doesn't exist.
The Church of Satan, says Satanists are digging the way Lil Nas X is turning against religion to market his customized Nike Air Max 97a shoes. Announcement of the new shoe line was also accompanied by the release of a music video that features Lil Nas giving Satan a lap dance.
To say the least, this pop star is taking his brand to the extreme. And some people might be ok with his approach.
